Dance Club: 3rd place in the Big Class at the 18th Japan High School Dance Club Championships, Newcomers Competition, Dance Stadium

The other day, our team of 13 first-year students participated in the 18th Japan High School Dance Club Championship Newcomer Competition DANCE STADIUM Big Class, held at the Nihon Kogakuin Arena.

We were able to achieve third place out of 70 participating schools.

As this was the first competition to be participated in by only first-year students, we had difficulties such as making repeated adjustments until just before the performance. Some members were depressed or in tears of frustration, but each time, the entire team encouraged each other, held meetings to decide the team’s direction, and practiced.

On the day, they showed the results of their practice and their determination, which led to this result.

Although the first-year students still have many issues to work on, I think they were able to learn a lot from this result.

Now it’s time for the club auditions to begin for the summer competition.

I hope that everyone will practice hard so that they have no regrets and will be able to face the summer competition with a smile.
