Biology Clubs participates in “Science Farm”!

The Biology Club participated in the “Science Farm 2024” (sponsored byt Rakuno Gakuen University) held in Sapporo from Saturday, August 17th to Sunday, August 18th. On the 17th, 59 projects from all of the country were gathered, and oral presentations were held in three groups (evaluations will be announced at a later date). Also, in between presentations, we were able to relax a bit by the distribution of frozen sweets made by Rakuno Gakuen.

On the 18th, there was a veterinary practice in the Skill Lab Building and a tour at the Animal Medical Center. Since Rakuno Gakuen University is located in Hokkaido, where dairy farming is thriving, there were plenty of large animal training facilities where the club members were able to actively participate in the practical training based on careful guidance. *Between the tournaments, we were able to visit the Sapporo Hitsujigaoka Observatory. Unfortunately, it was cloudy, but the temperature was a comfortable 24⁰C
