Performance at the 15th Japan Wind and Percussion Band Association Composition Award Finals in 2025

On Sunday, February 8, 2026, our performance band performed at the 2025 15th Japan Wind and Percussion Association Composition Award Finals, held at Shobi Music College.

This contest aims to develop and promote new repertoire that is suitable for various brass band arrangements in elementary, junior high, and high schools. Yamamura International High School performed the four pieces nominated for the final round and were judged.

Mr. Masato Sato, a leading wind band conductor, taught us many important things about music and brass bands during rehearsals.

During the Composition Award performance, our aggressive and beautiful sound filled the hall. Thank you, Mr. Sato.

We were also very pleased that the composers listened to our performance and gave us their comments on our performance. Thank you very much.

It was a very valuable experience for the brass band club.
