Biology Club participates in the “TAMA Science Festival”!
On 2025年11月13日 by yamamurakokusaiIt`s the Biology Club! On Sunday, November 2nd, we participated in the “TAMA Science Festival in TOYAKU 2025” (sponsored by the Tokyo University of Pharmacy and Life Sciences, School of Life Sciences) poster presentation event for junior and senior high school students.
Following the opening ceremony, in-person poster presentations and judging took place in the morning session* and afternoon session** (11 presentations were presented on-demand), followed by commentary and a closing ceremony. The Toyaku Festival (school festival) was also being held at the same time, and students enjoyed lunch from food stalls between presentations.
The Biology Club had planned to present three presentations, but two presentations (two students), one from a second-year student and one from a first-year student, were unable to attend due to the flu. However, alumni quickly stepped in to present in their place, providing a great opportunity for the judges and presenters from other schools to learn about the Biology Club’s research. The judges also asked questions that provided insights for future research (the results of the judging will be announced at a later date).
Thank you very much.
