3rd Biology Conference Held

This is the Biology Club! With the second half of this year’s competitions (starting in November) featuring poster and oral presentations fast approaching, we held our “3rd Conference” on Saturday, October 25th, inviting Biology Club alumni.

On the day of the conference, presentations were scheduled to be given by second- and first-year students who were scheduled to participate in the second half of the conference, but due to a second-year student coming down with the flu, the conference was suddenly rescheduled to include only first-year students. The first-year students gave presentations based on the progress of their research since April, and after their presentations, experienced alumni asked sharp questions, creating an atmosphere of tension.

Based on the comments made by the alumni, the first-year students who gave presentations hope to win prizes at the seven conferences to be held from November to the end of December.
