Boys’ Soft Tennis Club 7/19 (Sat) Saitama Prefecture Championship Results Report

Thank you very much for your continued understanding and cooperation with the activities of the Boys’ Soft Tennis Club.

The Saitama Prefectural Championship was held on Saturday, July 19th at the Sayama Chikoyama Park Tennis Courts. Eleven pairs from our school qualified to compete in the main tournament.

As the teams advanced, we saw Yamamura International School showdowns on each court, and it was fascinating to see the determination of the seniors go head-to-head with the challenging spirit of the juniors!

The results are:
Miyashita（2nd Year）・Yuri（Second Year）　1st
Machida（2nd Year）・Ishii（3rd Year） 3rd
Nakamoto（2nd Year）・須田（2nd Year）　Best 8

In the semifinals, top-seeded Machida and Ishii, who had qualified for the Inter-High School Championships, faced off against Miyashita and Aburari, who won the tournament!

It was a fierce match that went all the way to the finals.
