Biology Club: “Nippon Ham Award” Results Announced!

It`s the Biology Club! On Tuesday, March 25th, the Science Castle Research Fund 2024 “Nippon Ham Award” results presentation and certificate award ceremony was held at the Nippon Ham Central Research Institute (Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture).

Last year (2024), there were 31 entries from all over the country for the Science Castle “Nippon Ham Award”, and three of these, including our school’s Biology Club, were awarded research funds and provided with research guidance. The research guidance was carried out online for more than half a year from September last year to March this year, and we received research guidance from staff from the Nippon Ham Central Research Institute and the Science Castle Education Business Department to brush up on our work.

On the day, the research results of the three schools were presented orally using PowerPoint, and the Biology Club presented “Aiming to develop a butyric acid bacteria supplement – Searching for new butyric acid bacteria”.
