Biology Club at Tama Science Festival

This is the biology department! “TAMA Science Festival in TOUYAKU 2021” (sponsored by Tokyo University of Pharmacy and Life Sciences) was held online on October 31st (Sun). From the Biology Department, the research by Ms Inada, Ms Kaneko, Mr Fujino, Mr Yadakai and others was in the Standard Course, and the research by Ms Shioda was in the Beginner Course. The event was held using the online tool “Remo Conference” and divided into two sessions, morning and afternoon. At the award ceremony, “Osumi Award (1)”, “Excellent Poster Award (3)”, “Excellence Award (3)”, “Venue Award (3)”, “Research Encouragement Award (1)” ) ”were announced.

Among them, Kaneko et al.’s research “Fructooligosaccharide (FOS) regulates the balance of intestinal bacteria” won the “Venue Award”.

It was a meaningful day, although it was announced on the Web during the corona disaster.
