Biology Club: High School Student Research Presentation (Chiba University)

On 2024年10月3日 by yamamurakokusai

We participated in the “18th High School Student Research Presentation” (hosted by Chiba University and High School Cooperation Support Office) held at Chiba University (Nishi Chiba Campus Gymnasium) on Saturday September 28th.

Although it was cloudy on the day, two second year students gave a poster presentation in the morning and the afternoon. This “High School Student Science Research Presentation” is one of the largest competitions in the Kanto region, focusing on prefectural and private SSH in Chiba prefecture, various fields of science (physics I and II [85 cases], chemistry I and II [91 cases], biology I and II [115 cases], geology [25 cases], and mathematics・information [68 cases].

The presentation of abstracts topics (384 cases: a complete two part system in the morning and afternoon for measures against infectious diseases) was made. Since the presentation format was divided, if you can`t listen to the face to face presentation on the day, there is also a web distribution, where you can view the abstracts you are interested in.

We were able to get a sense of fulfillment at a real presentation at a big tournament for the first time in a long time. Thank you for the wonderful autumn day.
